Starting to feel a cold or flu coming on? Tis the season! While the following Immunity Juice may not cure your ailments immediately, this spicy concoction will certainly reduce your down time and put a little pep in your step during these next 2 busy months.
Taking certain actions right away upon feeling the onset of illness will help kick your cold and keep you healthy during cold & flu season.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money at the fancy juice shop either.
A 12 oz. Fresh & Co. orange, grapefruit and ginger juice with cayenne will cost you $8.
For the same price at Juice Press you can get one of their 9 oz. Immunity Boosters that contain healing properties such as lemon, ginger and oil of oregano.

If you have a juicer make it yourself for a lot less and get more bang for your buck!
The following makes 32 oz. for about $10 (if you already have the cayenne oil).

  • 2 grapefruits
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 limes
  • Giant hunk of ginger
  • 2 droppers full of cayenne
  • Juice all the fruit and ginger. Pour into a large mason jar. Add the cayenne pepper. Shake and drink an 8 oz. serving immediately. Store the rest in the fridge for a few days.

    Other Tips

    Oil of Oregano – excellent for cleansing, digestion and upper respiratory infections. Make sure you are using a high quality 100% pure oil that is safe for ingesting.
