Sara Goff

Sara Goff - yoga teacher

We first met Sara on our India Teacher Training in Goa 2014. She had already done a 200 hr. YTT, had been teaching in NYC for a while and was ready to delve into her 500 hr program. We were inspired by her spiritual nature, her teaching and adjustments and her overall creative yet calm and grounded demeanor.

She is a E-RYT 200 Vinyasa Yoga Instructor and RYT 500-hr candidate, Yoga Nidra practitioner, Soul Coach and Founder at Sara Goff Illuminates, Wild Woman Fest instructor and Wild Woman Project New Moon Circle Leader, and co-creator of the Vision Board Soiree.

After a severe motorcycle accident in 2008 left Sara with a prognosis of lifetime chronic pain, Sara embarked on a yoga journey that ultimately restored her spinal alignment, alleviated her suffering, and initiated her into a spiritual path that has redirected the course of her life toward sharing yoga’s profound and deep benefits with others.

Now a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Sonic School of Yoga Studies and an advanced student with Drishti Yoga School, Sara has been sharing yoga worldwide since 2010, in studios, private sessions, open-air jungle platforms, airport runways, festival tents, naked yoga studios, city park events, and international group retreats in locations that include New York City, Colorado, Hawaii, Ohio, India, Costa Rica, and Mexico.

This yogic path ultimately brought Sara to the creative tribe now known as the Wild Woman Project, through which Sara’s passion for reclaiming and reawakening the divine feminine in each of us and on the planet was ignited and is now growing through her Wild Woman New Moon Women’s Circles and the phenomenally popular Wild Woman Fest.

Sara is thrilled to return to Costa Rica, where she spent six months as a resident yoga instructor in the deep jungle of the Osa Peninsula, this time to assist as new trainees find their voices and embody the seat of their unique inner teachers.

Known for her unique blending of the playful with the sacred, Sara hopes to inspire her students to awaken to their innate potential toward the healing of both Self and the planet, and aims to leave each person, situation, and place she encounters with more light, insight, and possibility.
